The first coffee plant will be built in Crimea by 2022

A plant for the production of coffee, chicory and cocoa drinks with a capacity of 4 thousand tons of products per year will be built in the Crimea within three years. The corresponding agreement was signed on Thursday at the V Yalta International Economic Forum, reports TASS.

The document was signed by representatives of the investor Monolit LLC and the Republic Council of Ministers. The volume of investments in the project is 500 million rubles. The number of jobs is at least 100 people. The project implementation period is estimated at three years.

«The first coffee plant will be built in Crimea. The production of coffee beans, ground chicory, various cocoa drinks,» said Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers - Minister of Finance of the Republic of Crimea Irina Kiviko told about the project.

Earlier it was reported that the Crimean authorities are planning to conclude agreements on the YIEF totaling about 20 billion rubles.

V Yalta International Economic Forum is held April 17-20.
