19 December 2018 News «Lavitol (dihydroquercetin)» is a natural extract from Daurian larch wood. Due to its unique properties it is successfully used in various industries. In the food industry, dihydroquercetin is used as an antioxidant, which allows to increase the shelf life of the product (1.5-4 times), as well as a food additive to give the product parapharmaceutical properties. The Ametis company is the largest producer of natural extracts from a larch. The planned capacity of the enterprise allows for the year to produce more than 11 tons of high-purity dihydroquercetin and up to 80 tons of arabinogalactan, and today it is the largest production of this profile in Russia.
